19Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Introduction:
1. The Kingdom of God is in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
2. Those who serve the Lord in righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit are acceptable to God.
3. Let us pursue things that make for peace.

I. Let us seek to serve God in His Kingdom.
A. All things will be added to us.
B. We are sure to go to heaven if we serve God in His Kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit.
C. Remain obedient to the King
Stay in the Church where He wants you to be.
Get a hold of eternal life – fight the good fight of faith.

II. Serve in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
1. Remain in righteousness
2. Have peace with all men. “If you remember somebody has ought against you, make peace with him.
3. Be joyful in the Lord.

The Crown of Glory

1Peter 5:1-7
The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed;

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by c ompulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; not as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. Likewise you younger people submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you, be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

Introduction:
1. The elder should shepherd

I. The Importance of Cell Grouping
A. It provides
The opportunity to feed the flock.

B. It gives the team (cell group)
The ability to evangelize and
Win souls.

C. It makes way for
Fellowship
And sharing.

It produces
Leaders.

II. God resists the proud
But gives grace to the humble.

A. Who are the proud?
1. Those who say they have matured
As Christians but
Do not shepherd the younger Christians.

2. Those who do not submit to the
Authority given to them

The mighty hand of God is the authority God gave to us.
Namely:
1. your pastor
2. your G-12 leader
3. leaders of the nation. From the president down to the barrangay tanod.
4. all police officers.
B. Who are the humble?
1. Those who submit to authority.
2. Thos who take responsibility
To shepherd God’s flock
Which He purchased with His blood.

Abundance

John 10:9-11
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Introduction:
1. Jesus is the Door.
a. Door symbolizes a change of life and direction.
b. It is an opportunity.
2. The thief is satan.
a. His purpose is only to steal and kill and destroy.
b. Satan will not do anything good. Have nothing to do with him.
3. Jesus came to give you:
a. Life
b. Life of abundance
4. Jesus is the Good Shepherd.
a. He gives life for the sheep.
If you are a christian you are His sheep.
I. God’s will is abundance.
A. Ephesians 3: 17-21. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be a ble to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length, and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forlever and ever. Amen.
God gives us the abundance by Christ Jesus.
1. We need to be rooted and grounded in Love.
2. We need to know the Love of Christ.
3. We need to be filled with the fullness of God.
B. John 15:4-5
Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.
We need to remain in Christ
1. In order to bear much fruit.
a. win many souls and raise disciples.
b. be a blessing to others.
c. accomplish things for family, ministry and community.
2. Without Jesus we can do
Nothing.

II. Jesus is My Shepherd.
A. Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want.
1. In times of trouble you will have enough supply.
2. In situations of darkness, you will have light to know what to do. He will lead you.
3. In areas of depression and discouragement, He will lift you up and guide you.
The Lord is my Shepherd
B. Psalms 23: 6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
If we continue to follow our Shepherd
1. Goodness and mercy will always follow us.
2. We are sure to go to heaven.

Joy in Hope

Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Introduction:
1. Our God is a God of Hope.
2. God is filling us with joy and peace as we believe in Jesus.
3. That we may abound in Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
It is the Holy Spirit that pours on us the Hope that comes from the Father.

I. We should know our God.
He is the God of Hope.
A. Those who know their God shall be strong and do great accomplishments.
Daniel 11:32
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.
B. Paul’s desire was to know Jesus. (Philippians 3:8). Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I haqve suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
1. Paul did great exploits for God. He evangelized the surrounding countries in Asia and Europe.
2. Paul had a reputation of: “The man that turned the world upside-down.

II. God is filling every believer
With Joy and
Peace.

A. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Hebrews 12:2.
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the c ross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

B. Cast all your cares upon Him in prayer.
Just obey.

The whole universe remain until now because all of His creation obey Him.

D. Trust Him.
If God is able to light

The whole universe and sustain it,
Can He not provide
Your needs.

Greater Works For God

John 14:12-17
Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do because I go to My Father.
Verse 13-15
And whatever you ask in My name that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
If you love Me, keep My commandments
Verse 16-17
And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Introduction
1. Those who believe in Jesus will do great things. Greater than the things He did while He was here on earth.
2. Because He will give us the Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus will do whatever we ask in His name because He wants the Father to be glorified in Him.
4. Everything we ask must be in accordance with the word of God and led by the Spirit.
Our purpose must be to glorify God.

I. Our faith must be in Jesus
A. Faith is the substance.
Heb 11:1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
B. The container of faith is our mouth confession and the force of faith is the power of the Holy Spirit.
C. The object of our Faith is Jesus.
The source of our Hope:
Jesus and His promises.
D. All the promises of God in Christ is Yes and Amen.

II. Our example is Apostle Paul.
Acts 14:7-10
And they were preaching the gospel there.
And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.
Verse 9-10
This man heard Paul speaking. Paul observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed.
Said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.
A. Paul preached the gospel.
B. Paul saw that the cripple man had faith to be healed.
C. Paul said with a loud voice:”Stand up on your feet.”

Life and Death Situation

Deuteronomy 30: 19-20

I call heaven and earth as witness today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

That you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days, and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.

Introduction:
1. You have been given a choice: Between life and death, blessing and cursing.
2. God commanded us to choose life.
a. to love the Lord your God.
b. to obey His voice.
c. to cling to Him.

3. If you choose otherwise,
To hate the Lord and to disobey His voice and to abandon Him, you are choosing death and cursing
I. God’s blessing is upon those who obey Him.
A. Luke 11:28.
But He said: “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

A. God’s blessing are on those who do the Word of God. Luke 8:19-22.
Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd. And it was told Him by some who said, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside desiring to see You.”

But He answered and said to them: “My mother and brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.”
B. God’s blessing makes you prosperous.
Proverbs 10:22.
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
C. God’s blessing brings 3 fold prosperity. Psa. 128:1-2
Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.
When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy and it shall be well with you.

1. You will eat from your wages. You are going to benefit from the fruit of your hands.

2. You will be happy!!!

3. You will enjoy the good life.

II. Obeying God’s voice
And doing what pleases Him will assure you of
Answer to your prayers.
A. John 15:7
If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
1 John 3:22
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

Releasing Women in Ministry

Philippians 4:2-3
I implore Euodia and I implore Syntiyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.
And I urge you also, true companion, help those women who labored with me in the gospel with Clement also and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of life.

Introduction:
1. Women who were co-laborers with Paul in the Gospel were encouraged.
2. Paul urged the Church to help them.
I. Women may pastor and preach the Gospel.
A. Luke 10:41-42. And Jesus answered and said to her, “ Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen the good part which will not be taken away from her.”

1. If the Gospel is not for women to minister, Jesus should have commanded Marry to help Martha with the chores because that is her duty, to do the house help.
2. Jesus commended Mary for prioritizing the Word of God. Because God is going to use her mightily to preach the Gospel.
B. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35
Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says; and if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for women to speak in church.

1. Paul admonished women to keep silent in the church. These are the church attendees and not the pastor.
2. They keep interrupting while the service is going on, or while the pastor is preaching.
3. They are debating with their husbands and with one another inside the church.

It has nothing to do with women pastoring or ministering the Gospel.

The first evangelist that Jesus assigned when He rose from the dead was Mary Magdalene.
The coordinator that Jesus used to prepare His way to preach to the Samaritans was the Samaritan woman at the well.
The Pastor who trained Benny Hinn, one of the greatest evangelists in our time was a woman. Catherine Coleman.

II. Galatians 3:28-29
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.

A. God does not look at us in our gender.
He looks at us as His children with Christ in us.
He sees the blood of His Son in us.

B. God uses every believer who is available.
1. It is not your ability but it is your availability that counts with God.
2. He gives us the ability to do whatever He tells us to do.

The Love of the Father - Romans 8:28-39

Romans 8:28-39
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
For whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined these He also called, whom He called these He also justified and whom He justified those He also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect. It is God who justifies.
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and further more is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness, or peril or sword? As it is whritte “For Your sake we are killed all day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am per5suaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be abler to separate us
From the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Introduction:
1. All things are working together for good
If we love God
And keep His commandments.
2. God freely gives us all things
Together with Christ.
Package deal.
3. No one or any thing can separate us from the love of God, which is in
Christ Jesus.

I. God orchestrate everything in the life of those who obey Him.
A. Obedience is our
Expression of love for God.

John 14:15
If you love me, keep my commandments.
B. When trouble or persecution comes
As a result of our obedience,
Do not be discouraged
Or give up.
2. Your obedience
Puts satan under you feet
By God.
Then he is crushed under
2. Your light affliction
Works for you an eternal weight of glory. II Cor. 4:17
For our light affliction which is but for a moment is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

II. God is the giver of every good thing.
A. James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
B. God will not withhold from you anything that will benefit you.
God is so very good.
C. God is looking after you.
Psalms 139:5-10
You have hedged me behind and before. And laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me. I cannot attain it.
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven You are there. If I make my bed in hell, behold You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there, Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

III. Remain
In Christ.
There is eternal security if you are
In Christ Jesus.
To be sure that we are in Christ,
We must keep His word.
1 John 2:5
But whoever keeps His word truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

The Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Galatians 6:18
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me

Introduction:
1. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is available to all christians.
2. God wants us to operate in His grace like Paul did.
3. The grace of Jesus is an unmerited Favor
It is freely given because of the Cross.

I. We should do the work of evangelism by His grace.
A. The first batch of the Lord’s disciples went everywhere preaching.
Mark 16: 20. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
B. Like Paul we should be praying for God’s grace to abound in the church.
1. Ephesians 1:2. Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul’s desire was for the church to receive the grace of God.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Let us ask God for His grace continually.
a. The grace of Jesus will help us in time of need.
b. The grace of Jesus is sufficient for us.
2 Cor. 12:9. And He said to me: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly, I would rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

II. The growth of the christian is by the grace of Jesus.
2 Peter 3:18. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
A. The key to church growth is
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
B. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will bring multiplication of christians.
1. By grace we are saved through faith.
Eph. 2:8-9. For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is
the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast.
Church Growth is by the grace of Jesus
We are totally dependent on God for the growth of the church.
C. Therefore we should be praying intensively for the salvation of our loved ones and friends and neighbors.
D. We should obey the Holy Spirit if we are prompted to do something
1. For the work of God.
2. In giving to the gospel.
3. In helping others.
4. In inviting souls to receive Jesus in their hearts.
5. to invite people to attend cell groups and fellowship.
E. Our obedience to the Holy Spirit will cause the grace of God to work.
1. We are to trust God for the result of our obedience to Him because the grace of God is
. working 24 hours a day for us.
If we know that everything is by the grace of God,
a. We should trust Him and stop working in our own ability but obey Him, knowing that we
can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
2. We should be dependent on the Holy Spirit because it is not by might nor by power but by
the Holy Spirit.
3. God will be pleased with us if we operate in the power of the Holy Spirit.
How do we operate in the power of the Holy Spirit?
1. Pray. Ask God and be ready to act on what He tells you to do.
2. Obey. Our act of faith is our obedience.
3. Say what you believe.
4. Expect God for the miracle.

Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

• Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
• And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
• And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth; blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
• The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood,
• Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
• And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

Introduction:

1. God is pouring His Spirit on all flesh.
2. The evidence of God’s Spirit on the Church:
Christians prophesying.
Old men (the elders of the Church) are dreaming dreams.
Young men are seeing visions.

3. God will show wonders in heaven and earth.

Blood which symbolizes the finished work of Jesus.
Fire which symbolizes the zeal of christians in serving God.
Pillars of smoke which symbolizes the prayer of the saints.

I. The Blood of Redemption.

A. There will be healing of bodies and finances and hurts.
B. There will be evidence of changed lives.
C. There will be deliverance.

II. The Fire of God’s Love.

A. Christians will have fervent love for God and for other people.
B. There will be great zeal for God’s work.

III. The Pillars of Smoke are prayers of Christians.

A. Matthew 18:20. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in
the midst of them.
There will be gathering of christians (cell groups) everywhere.
B. There will be prayers answered and miracles
Therefore offering of thanks giving prayers will be in all places.

The Word of Life

1. Jesus is the Word.
2. When God’s Word comes, then life begins.
John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die…”
3. God’s Word brings light.
Psalms 119:130
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
4. God’s Word brings the 3 Fold Prosperity.

3 John 2-3
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is you, just as you walk in truth.
The Word of God is Truth

I. How do you treat God’s Word?
A. Be committed to the Word.
1. No compromise.
2. 100% obedience.
3. You are willing to sacrifice
4. You are willing to step in faith and take
risk.
B. God’s Word is our Top Priority.
1. The Parable of the sower. The two grounds that received the seed but did not produce good fruit have one thing in common.
a. sown on rocky ground.
b. sown among thorns.
They are those who hear the Word but do not continue in it.
3. Those who continued received a hundred fold return.
Luke 8:15
But the ones that fell on good ground are those who having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

II. Obedience to the Word means giving glory to God.
God will fill the earth with His Glory. It means that in this last days multitude of people, as numerous as the stars will be obedient to God and His Word.
A. God’s promise: Numbers 14:21
“but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.”
God’s purpose is to fill the earth with His people who are obedient.
But His people rebelled against Him by not entering the promise land as He commanded them. So that generation did not enter. God waited for them to die in the wilderness and prepared for Himself a generation that will obey Him and enter the promise land.
Moses, himself, did not enter the promise land because he disobeyed God at Meribah.
DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD
Will hinder God’s blessing and prevent people from receiving God’s promises.
Will not allow God to be glorified in our lives.
Will bring a soul to hell.
B. Moses failed to enter the promise land because
1. He was moved by anger as a reaction to the complains of Israel.
2. He was presuming to do the old things he usually did. He forgot to do what he was told to do.
3. He disobeyed God.
Failure to obey God has
NO EXCUSE.
Numbers 20: 12

The G12 and Church Growth of Region I
To God be all the Glory. Because of the G12 strategy that we applied in our JCSGO Families in Region I in this 4 years of transition to the Cell Church, we had a paradigm shift. Before, we see the church as a place where Christians are fed and maintained so that they will continue to live godly lives through the message of the pastor. But now we see that the whole church is needed to evangelize our nations, and every disciple must be mobilized to reap the harvest. Before the G12, our goal is to increase members in the church. Our thinking ,after we embraced the G12, is changed to training our people to shepherd our community. We are not waiting for people to go to church but we make the community as our congregation and the people who attend church are leaders to be equipped to do the work of the ministry. As a result, we experienced multiplication in our disciples, from Pangasinan, La Union, Benguet Province, Ilocos Sur, and Ilocos Norte. Our recent 24th Year Church Anniversary of Region I on August 9, 2009 was unprecedented. It was held in the Narciso Ramos Sports Gym with more than three thousand church disciples who attended. And during anniversary we have 66 SOL graduated and 6 ordained pastors, Ptrs Jaime Jose and Minerva Aquino, Ptrs Manuelo and Cecilia Cabanlong and Ptr Amelita Ventayen and Ptr Christina Jose
We also celebrated the Church Anniversary of Dagupan Sector led by Ptrs. Joel and Jet Bravo which was held in Stadia, CSI Warehouse on September 5, 2009 with approximately two thousand disciples who attend. In Ilocos, led by Ptrs. Eugene and Cristy Medina, we celebrated our Church Anniversary on September 6, 2009 at the 4 Storey Building of the Eagle Vision owned by the Bro Ruben and Sis Yolly Cortez who are our coordinators in Ilocos. Our 8 sectors in Region I are regularly conducting the Encounter God Weekend seminars separately. Every family is conducting the PEPSOL and everyone is excited to CONQUEST-evangelize. At present we have 53 churches, there is Holy Spirit revival going on in Region I. We are aiming high for the Glory of God.

I. God’s formula for a stress free life.
A. Seek His kingdom.

• 3. Jesus is the King and we are His subjects. As servants to the King, we should be after doing His will and obeying His command and fulfill His commission.
B. Seek His righteousness.
• 1. Romans 4: 19-22. Abraham believed God and it was counted to Him for righteousness.
• 2. We are counted as seed of Abraham if we believe in God who sent His Son Jesus.
• 3. Therefore we are made righteous in the sight of God if we receive Jesus in our hearts . II Cor. 5:21.
• 4. As long as we remain in Jesus in obeying His commandments and serving Him we are righteous in the sight of God.

II. All these things shall be added unto you.
A. The things that will be added unto us are namely:

One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-- but not the end of me. I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity. We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense. Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one.

The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort; God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy. We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness..

This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer. I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore. Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life. No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on. And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for..

You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems:
If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, which is my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others. We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kay or make it easy for her- It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people. You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life.

Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy. It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease. So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence... He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72.

First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases.
Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.
Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.
Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.

We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity? Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)?

When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.

The Blessing from the Father

Numbers 6:23-26

And the Lord spoke to Aaron and his sons saying: “this is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make His face shine upon you.
And be gracious to you.

Introduction:
God commanded the High Priest to bless Israel with His blessing. He stated specifically the words that he will use to bless His people. Therefore these blessings are in accordance with His will. And if it is His will, He will surely bring it to pass upon you if you obey His voice and keep His commandments.

I. The Lord bless you and keep you. (Psalms 5:12) For you O Lord will bless the righteous.

With favor you will surround him as with a shield.

A. God’s blessing is upon the righteous.
1. Jesus is our righteousness. As we remain in Jesus, we are righteous in the sight of God. God sees the blood covering us and not our weaknesses.
2. Let us continue to do what is right and depart from all evil.
B. His favor will be our shield of protection.

Introduction:
In order to experience the redemptive work of the blood of Jesus we should be in Him. God has commanded us to remain in Christ. No one can snatch you from the Hand of God, but if you choose to sin and depart from Him, then God’s saving grace cannot apply to your life. To stay under the blood we should remain in Christ and depart from all iniquities.

B. The gospel is the power of God to save people.

2. Jesus desires that we confess Him before men and share God’s love.
3. Heaven is counting on us.

II. Our role model is Stephen.Acts 6:8
A. Full of faith and power.
B. Signs and wonders followed his ministry.
C. He confessed Jesus even when it meant his death.
1. he became the forerunner of the martyrs of Jesus.

I have set to you an example. We must all do as I have done.
We need to have a paradigm shift.
The old paradigm: the pastor is the one who has the responsibility to preach and evangelize. My job as the member of the church is to attend and give my support and bring loved ones to the church.
The new paradigm and God’s intension for the church is to be equipped and filled of the Spirit to go and preach. The pastor’s duty is to feed the church in order to go and reach out to the lost. The pastor is to give direction and order in the church

The Anointing of the Holy Spirit

B. Those who practice those things will not
Inherit the kingdom of God.
It means they will not make it to heaven.
It means they are going to hell.
It means they will spend eternity not with the Lord Jesus Christ.
It means they will be eaten by worms that will not die and be burned by fire that cannot be quenched forever.

II. The anointing will destroy the yoke. (Isaiah 10:27)
A. We destroy the works of the flesh by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:13)

Introduction
The Lord Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. He wants us to do likewise. We are his body here on earth.
Jesus and all of heaven are all rejoicing over sinners brought to repentance and saved.

You can preach Jesus without possessing Him but you cannot possess Jesus without preaching Him.
Will you allow the dying man to be devoured by Satan without doing anything?

The Lost sheep must be found
Making efforts to reach the lost must be our priority.
The Gospel is free of charge but it is never cheap.
God has His all out support for the objective of winning the soul for Jesus.
Let us obey Him at all cost.
The Lord rejoices to see His sheep that was lost back in the sheepfold.

I. Heaven is rejoicing.

1. our purpose is to seek and save the lost. Jesus came for this purpose. Luke 19:10
2. we should motivate christians to win the lost.
3. we are the legitimate people to preach the gospel to the lost.

B. When God’s kingdom is being populated and Satan’s kingdom depapulated.
1. A sinner converted to christianity is transferred to the Kingdom of heaven.
2. He is now heaven bound.
3. His name is written in the book of life.
4. Every sinner brought to Christ means His coming is getting nearer.
5. God’s heart is : “that none should perish”.

II. The Power of God to Save is in the Gospel.
A. Gospel is good news.
1. The cross and the blood of Jesus is the heart of the gospel.
2. The Good News is that Jesus paid the price for our salvation in spirit soul and body.
3. The penalty for our sins has been atoned for by His death on the cross.
4. We have eternal life and are heaven bound.

B. Our part in the Good News is
1. Repent of our sins and receive Jesus permanently in our hearts by constantly obeying Him.
2. Be a testimony and live according to the Gospel and sin no more.
3. Proclaim the Gospel in the Power of the Holy Spirit and with cultural relevance.

III. My Paradigm Shift
A. Before:
My purpose is to expand God’s kingdom by bringing souls to my church and have them saved and maintain them as good christians.
B. Now:
1. My congregation is the 7million people of Region One and half of CAR.
2. My pastors and leaders are the people attending our services.

3. My purpose is to train them (at present 3000+)
To do the work of expanding God’s Kingdom.

Introduction
Obedience to God is the key to grow as a christian. Many denominations have divers doctrines in order to remain in God’s kingdom. Jesus told us the right way. And that is to abide in Him. The key to assurance of salvation is to remain in Jesus who is our salvation. ( Example the Ship and the Captain and the life-saver.)

I. We should be rooted and grounded in His love. Ephesians 3:17
A. God’s calling is for us to be rooted in Christ. We are to remain in Him.
1. In order to remain in Him we are to obey His word. 1John 2:3-5
2. We are called to fellowship with Jesus. 1Cor. 1:9
3. If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. 1John 1:7
B. What are the benefits of being rooted in His love?
1. You will bear much fruit.
2. You will always have answered prayers.
3. You are assured of salvation.
4. You are covered and cleansed by the Blood of Jesus.
5. You have access to the Father.
6. You are blessed and the blessing of God is working on you.
7. You will bring souls to God. 1Tim. 4:16

Teacher , which is the great commandment in the law?
l Jesus said to him, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” …”you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the Prophets.

Introduction
Who is the one who loves the Lord according to Jesus. He who has my commandments and keeps them it is he who loves me… John 14:21. Loving God is not an option. It is a commandment.
Love for others begin with love for self. We are commanded to love others as we love ourselves. Learn to respect, forgive, appreciate and esteem high yourself.

I. Love of God.
A. The Holy Spirit pours the love of God in our hearts.
1. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His Love so you can really worship and love God with a sincere heart.
2. Love is a decision and not a feeling. It is a tangible substance that we can contain in our hearts. Let the Holy Spirit always fill you with His love so you can give your love to God.
3. Open your heart to the Holy Spirit.

B. God has a great desire to be loved by His children.
1. There is no option. We must love Him.
2. You must draw near to Him so that He will draw near to you. James 4:8.
3. Meet the need of God by loving Him.
4. How do we love Him?
a. Keep His word. And do His will.
b. Express your love by worshipping Him.

II. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
A. Who is my neighbor?
1. one who is in need. James 2:14-20

B. What you want others to do to you do so to them.

The Lord said to him; “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things; Enter into the joy of your lord.”

Introduction
Ø God entrusts to us things in the earth in order to prove our faithfulness.
Ø God is looking for faithful men and women who will be serving Him. Psa. 101:6
Ø If we have been faithful in little, we will be faithful in much. That is God’s way of thinking.
Ø If you have been unfaithful in little, you will be also unfaithful in much.

I. God’s principle of faithfulness. Luke 16:10-12
A. If you have been unjust in what is least you will be unjust in much.
Ø 1. Example: If God tells you to give something for the church building and you do not obey that is being unjust.
Ø 2. If God entrust to you a ministry and you do not fulfill that is being unjust.
Ø 3. If God tells you to attend in JCSGO and you do not obey, you say I attend, a but in other fellowship, that is being unjust.

B. If you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is
your own?
Ø 1. If you did not return what you borrow from your neighbor, that is unfaithfulness.
Ø 2. If you are not taking care of the house you are renting and you are delayed in paying, how can God give you your own house?
Ø 3. If you are not supporting God’s kingdom, how can God support you in your needs?

II. Be faithful in what belongs to God that He entrusts to you. Luke 12:42-43
A. He feeds the household of God with the portion of food in due season.
Ø 1. Sharing the word informally.
Ø 2. Feeding them in cell grouping.
Ø 3. Preaching in Sunday Services/
B. How can you give the right word at the right time?
Ø 1. Ask God for the word you will share.

III. A Faithful Servant is one who knows how to wait upon the Lord.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and mount up with wings like eagles.
1. Waiting upon the Lord is simply knowing what He wants you to do in your
situation.
2. Waiting upon the Lord is having devotion. Let it be your habit to read your
bible and pray in your first hour of the day.
3. Waiting upon the Lord is praising and worshipping God.
4. It is being silent in His presence.

Man shall not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)
1. “Word” here in Greek is Rhema. Which means specific word for a specific
person or group of persons for the specific time.
2. We live and move and have our being because of God. Therefore He should
have Lordship over all areas of our lives.
3. God has always a word for us everyday.
We should spend time to hear from Him.

My Definition of a Good and Faithful Servant
Ø A believer who earnestly hearken to God’s voice and His word, who is willing to do whatever He tells him to do, whatever the cost may be.
Ø He is a diligent person doing what is entrusted to him as unto the Lord.
Ø He is an honest Christian who does things by the rules. (according to God’s commandments)

Faithful Christians

Matthew 24:35-51
Heaven and earth will pass away but my word will by no means pass away…And will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Introduction
The Lord Jesus is coming at a day and hour that only the Father in heaven knows.
We need to watch and pray and be ready.
God wants us to be feeding the household of faith until His coming.
He will appoint the portion of unbelievers to those who backslide.

I. Be Doers of the will of God. I John 2:15-17
A. Love not the world or the things of the world which are:
1. lust of the flesh
2. lust of the eyes
3. the pride of life
B. He that loves the world has not the love of God in him.
C. He that does the will of the Father will abide forever.
1. We must be serious to know the will of the Father. We cannot afford to be removed from God’s will.
2. Let us maintain a cheerful countenance.
3. Let us be content with the things God gives us.
4. Let us not complain.

II. The Verdict of the Faithful Servant.
A. If the Master comes and find him giving food in due season to His household. (christians, the church, and the potentials) He will make him ruler in His household.
B. He will make him ruler over all His goods. His destination is Heaven.

III. The Verdict of the Unfaithful servant
A. He says in his heart: “my master is delaying His coming.”
B. He begins to beat his fellow servants.
C. He begins to eat and drink with the drunkards.
D. His master will come at a day and an hour he is not expecting and cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The destination of the unfaithful servant is the fire of hell.

Faithfulness is God’s requirement
1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them. For in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
We should maintain an attitude of discipline and passion for souls in order to qualify.

Faith Comes by Hearing

The Word
I. Faith is the most important possession that we can ever have.

D. We need faith to preach the Gospel.

F. We need faith to cast out demons.
G. The just shall live by faith. We are justified by our faith in Christ.
H. We are not of them that draw back to perdition. Our faith will keep us from evil one.

II. God’s Word and His promises are the true objects of faith.
A. Faith in the Blood of Jesus.
B. Faith in God’s love and mercy. The church is founded on the revelation knowledge of Jesus.
C. Faith in the Holy Spirit.

III. The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want. (Ps. 23:1)
A. Jesus is the good shepherd.

B. We are planted in a personal relationship with God.

Faith and Patience

That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Introduction:
The key to answered prayer is faith and patience. All the promises of God in Christ are yeah and amen. 2 Cor. 1: 20
Faith and patience go hand in hand.

I. What you say is what you get. Mark 11:22-24
Have faith in God.
If you say to this mountain. (address the problem)
Believe in his heart and not doubt.
Not doubting requires patience.
He will have whatever he says.

II. Examples
A. Jairus and his dying daughter. Mark 5:22-42.
1. Jairus did not say anything contrary to what he declared.
2. Jesus told him: “do not be afraid, only believe.”
3. Jairus did not waiver in his faith confession and got what he desired.

B. David and His men in Ziklag. 1 Samuel 30:1- 19
1. The decision of David resulted to loss of the loved ones and properties of him and his people.
2. He was about to be stoned by his people but David strengthened himself in the Lord. Verse 6
3. David inquired of the Lord. Verse 8
4. David recovered all. Verse 19

III. You need faith and patience to obtain the promise of eternal life in heaven. Heb. 10:36-39
A. Drawing back or backsliding is a sign of impatience in faith.
B. We are of those who continue believing to the saving of the soul. Verse 39
1. By your patience possess your soul. Luke 21:19.
2. Blessed is the man who endures temptation for when he has been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love Him. James 1: 12

Introduction:
• David is our role model of a person dedicated whole heartedly to the Lord.
• God chose Saul to be king over Israel, but eventually, because of his heart attitude, God rejected him and sought for a man after His own heart in the person of David.
• David has a great desire to please God and he always find refuge in God’s holy presence. He has a daily devotion early in the morning.
• David finds great pleasure and satisfaction in being intimate with God.
• His earnest desire is to please God.

I. David longs for God therefore every morning he will come to Him.
A. As a dedicated christian, let us develop a daily one on one devotion to Jesus.
B. Let us seek Him.
• 1. Know His will
• 2. Know what He wants you to do.
• 3. Study His word and let God speak to you through His word.

II. David developed a daily Worship time for God in his quiet time in the morning.
A. As a christian start your day on a quiet time with God praising Him for His loving

Commitment

Introduction
• We should imitate Jesus as He has set to us an example that we should follow.
• Jesus has committed to God everything, even His spirit unto His death.
• He did not waiver in His commitment to obey His Father’s commandment.
• Jesus did not sin though He was tested in every way to prove that He is the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Thus He was committed to save us.

I. Jesus was committed to do His Father’s will.
A. John 4:34. Doing God’s will is His food.
It gives Him:
1. Strength to do the job.
2. Fuel to put Him on fire.
B. Philippians 2:8. He was obedient unto death. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name above every other name, to show us that as we obey God He will highly exalt us together with Jesus.

II. Jesus was committed to His disciples. John 17: 8-26
A. Verse 8. He has fed He His disciples with His Word.
B. Verse 12. He has kept them.
C. Verse 14. He has prayed for them. He is our mediator to God. 1 Tim. 2:5.
D. Verse 18. He has sanctified them.

III. He is committed to the vision.John 10: 15-18
A. He is totally dedicated to the gospel.
B. His vision is to bring all christians together under one shepherd in His person.

The participants will be convinced why evangelizing is a personal obligation and an urgent task to be passionately accomplished.

What is winning souls?

It is removing him from the power of satan and connecting him to the power of the Holy spirit.
It is setting him free from the bondage of sin to the freedom that is in Christ Jesus.

What is making disciples?
The biblical definition of a disciple is a follower of Jesus.
Making a disciple is enabling a person to follow Jesus by:
A. Setting an example Matthew 28:19.
B. Teaching him to obey Jesus in a personal way. That by obeying His commandments, he will remain in Him.
He who has the Son has Life. He who has not the Son has no Life.

Arise, Shine and be Glorious

Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Introduction
• God has a mandate for the church to arise and shine because His glory is risen upon us.
• It means we have to do our job to share the gospel and live a life free from iniquity.
• It means doing good in accordance with the gospel we preach. Then God’s glory who is Jesus will rise upon us.

I. Two things the church must do:
A. Arise. It means: Get out from a passive position.
1. Stop complacency and be zealous for God.
2. Stop living for selfish motivation and serve. Be significant.
3. Turn away from filthiness and live for Jesus.

B. Shine. Matthew 5:16
1. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works
and glorify your Father in heaven.
2. Your character should be like that of our Lord Jesus Christ.
3. Show your love for others.
4. Be a blessing.

II. Your Light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
A. Jesus has come and His glory is upon us.
1. Haggai 2:6-9
2. He will fill the Church with His Glory.
B. Isaiah 60:3-7 God has promised what He is going to do to the Church.
III. What will Jesus do to the Church? Isaiah 60:3-7
A. V. 3 Gentiles, esp. kings shall come.
B. V. 4 Your sons and daughters (converts) shall come and be trained.
C. V. 5 Finances will be poured in from people (believers and unbelievers)
D. V. 6 They shall attend fellowship with cars and the place will be filled. They
finances. God will prosper them.
E. V. 7 Hard people will be converted and be accepted before God.
F. God will glorify the house of His glory (the Church)
