Genesis 22:14

And Abraham called the name of the place, “The Lord will provide, as it is said to this day, in the mount of the Lord it will be provided.”

Introduction:

Jehovah Jaire means the Lord our Provider.

God did not spare His Son. He is God’s provision for us to escape hell.

If God did not spare Jesus, He will give us everything we need. Nothing is too hard for God.

I. God’s dealing with His children.

A. Abraham did not withhold from God the most important thing in his life.

1. Our possessions sometimes hinder us from serving God.

2. The worship that is pleasing to God is our obedience and surrender to Him.

B. Abraham received the promise and it is very clear that he obeyed the voice of God.

1. We should obey God unconditionally if we want to receive divine provision.

II. Our role model is the Philippian church.

A. They were partners in the gospel. Phil. 1:5

1. We should be part of the vision of God. (Habakkuk 2:14) For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

B. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1. If you are a partner of God in the gospel He will supply all your needs.
