Faith Comes by Hearing

Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Introduction:
n God has given to each one the measure of faith.
Rom. 12:3
n People do not receive not because God did not give.
n Faith is received by hearing the Word of God.
Matt. 13:12
n Be careful how you hear. He who has will be given more.
n You have to possess the Word.

The Word
I. Faith is the most important possession that we can ever have.
A. Salvation-Eph. 2:8
B. Deliverance Your faith has made you whole.
C. We do not possess faith to beat but to accomplish God’s purpose for our life.
D. We need faith to preach the Gospel.
E. We need faith to heal the sick. Ex. Inang
F. We need faith to cast out demons.
G. The just shall live by faith. We are justified by our faith in Christ.
H. We are not of them that draw back to perdition. Our faith will keep us from evil one.

II. God’s Word and His promises are the true objects of faith.
A. Faith in the Blood of Jesus.
B. Faith in God’s love and mercy. The church is founded on the revelation knowledge of Jesus.
C. Faith in the Holy Spirit.

III. The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want. (Ps. 23:1)
A. Jesus is the good shepherd.
n My sheep know me. They hear my voice and they follow me. John 10:27
B. We are planted in a personal relationship with God.
